Joy Hoover: "How to Give Your Best without Sacrificing Yourself"
When dealing with clients who are inevitably in "crisis," it can be difficult to pull away from the needs that need to be met and practice self-care. One of the many lessons Joy has learned is to balance her home and personal life with the grueling demands of running a nonprofit organization. Through personal experiences of burnout and overwork, Joy is constantly learning that inspiration and fresh perspective come from times of rest and reflection. Leaders are often told to give 110%, but it's important to know that you can give your best without sacrificing everything you've got. Joy uses authenticity and personal experience to share how you can be happy and healthy both at home and in the workplace offering helpful everyday takeaways.
